The summer jazz festival season in Portland is just about to kick off with the Cathedral Park Jazz Festival.  This festival runs from July 17-19th with three days of great music.  This year, you’ll find:

Coming soon is the Mt. Hood Jazz Festival – (August 14th and 15th) featuring great national artists like Terrell Stafford and Bobby Shew as well as local talent such as the Art Abrams Swing Machine Big Band and the Stan Kenton Tribute Band led by Kenton-alumnus Gary Hobbs.
